Agsublika iti Ángin is the third of our Elemental Combat and Healing Immersion Series dedicated to the alchemizing of our physical and subtle anatomy through our union with the various phenomena of nature. This one will be a powerful celebration held on Indigenous Peoples Day.
All ancient traditions carry the five elemental doctrine. In our own tradition the elements of Apúy (fire), Danúm (water), Ángin (wind), Dagá (earth), and Laün (ether) comprise the lens through which our indigenous healers diagnose and treat ailments. Concurrently, when all four elements are called into balance, we are able to experience alignment with Spirit. This is the mission of the Agsublika Series, for us to return to our most spiritual forms.
Ángin is linked to the mental body and the power of thought and expression. It is masculine in quality, as the element of air has the capacity to expand, move, and alchemize even the most unbeneficial mental blocks into fierce purpose. When we train within the element of air we harness the energy of intellect, mental intention, and connection to universal life force as our journey in this immersion leads us to hiking through wind tunnels, caves, and through a variety of desert landscapes. These air energies combined with the indigenous movements of Didya Mudgara, Didya ‘Kabarwanan and Breathwork promote mental clarity and agility, and helps to overcome limitations of the mind by bringing Spirit as the driving force of purpose and action. Release your limiting beliefs.
In this very special immersion, Master Teacher Virgil M. Apostol + Janelle Corpuz Hethcoat, lead us in a return to air with ceremonial ancestral offerings, hiking and elemental combat practices, folklore storytelling, mantala, sound journey, and energy healing--all within the lungs of Apo Dagá (Mother Earth).
