KaÏlūkuän Combat and Healing Arts is excited to present the Ablon Therapist Certification Program! This is an extensive, 9 month course resulting in the accumulation of over 20 years of research, development, clinical practice, and dissemination of Ablon by founder Virgil Mayor Apostol, author of "Way of the Ancient Healer: Sacred Teachings from the Philippine Ancestral Traditions" (North Atlantic Books, 2010).

Ablon Manual medicine
From the Northern Luzon Area of the Philippines comes the indigenous healing art of Ablon (Hilot or Traditional Body Work), which is a traditional form of manual medicine used by Iluko (Ilocano) healers and practitioners of the Filipino martial arts (FMA) to help restore neurovascular and musculoskeletal imbalances sustained during the course of daily living or training. It is used for various health concerns including physical, emotional and spiritual deficiencies.
