KAÏLŪKUÄN MUDGARA —Calisthenics Clubs—

BACKGROUND The art of club swinging dates back to an era when Persian and Indian warriors went out into the battlefields, wielding swords, shields, and an array of other arms. In order to maintain their strength between wars so that they were battle ready, clubs of varying weights were used as part of their calisthenics regimen.

DISADVANTAGE OF CURRENT MODELS Very few companies manufacture wooden clubs, which are great for general workouts. However, these current models lack the design structure ideal for combat when swinging sticks and swords, thus not taking advantage of a certain flow of mechanical movements. SOLUTION To resolve this, Manursuro Virgil Mayor Apostol designed these "Kaïlūkuän Mudgara" (clubs) that can provide the feel of swinging actual weapons with sufficient weight for musculoskeletal resistance while developing effective body mechanics.

MORE THAN JUST CALISTHENICS Manursuro Apostol guides our students in the art of Didya Mudgara Warrior Club Calisthenics™️ that connects the Northern Luzon combat styles of the Filipino martial arts and weaponry with the traditional healing art of Ablon/Hilot manual medicine. Each pair of Kaïlūkuän Mudgara is made from hardwoods that closely match the one-pound and two-pound weights for females and males, respectively. As part of the school curriculum, it is a requirement that each student develops their physical foundation that prepares them in their further advancement in both the combat and healing arts.

Those who purchase a pair will be guided via virtual video through the 20 Langat' Dumadangadang (warrior postures) and some basic swinging routines to get you started to good health. These clubs are specially ordered with a limited supply available. Pre-order now!
