GROSS ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY & ENErgetic systems

MODULE 2
HYBRID STUDY - in person or virtual / live or self-paced

Through Ablon manual medicine, the ability to sense bodily structures becomes second nature. These structures have been categorized into what would be known in modern science as the musculoskeletal system and neurovascular bundles and vessels. From the viewpoint of traditional medicine, however, these structures and how they function will be defined through an indigenous lens and interpretation.

Western societies are accustomed to the compartmentalization of ideas and practices, as they serve their specific functions. Traditional medicine often views the interconnectedness of the various structures and how they synergistically work together, both on physical and energetic levels. These practices retain a holistic approach with the non separation of physical and metaphysical views and practices.

Through an indigenous lens, the following will be covered:

  • Understanding and navigating the musculoskeletal system and neurovascular bundles and vessels

  • Defining and identification of the rurog (skeleton), urat (neurovascular bundles and vessels), pennet (tendons, ligaments, sinews, chord-like structures)

  • Connection of various structures and their synergistic connections

  • Spiritual and energetic direction and movement

  • Comprehend the fundamental structures of the human body and how they relate to Hilot therapy

  • Identify key landmarks and anatomical structures relevant to Ablon Hilot therapy

  • Understand the basic human physiological processes and how they interact with energetic systems.

  • Connect the principles of human physiology with the theories of energetic systems within the context of Hilot therapy.
