One of the unique practices of traditional medicine is the inclusion of cultural and sociological beliefs. This would include spiritual, religious, and esoteric practices that provide a holistic perspective to health and wellness. Some of these concepts and practices will be covered, in order to understand the psyche of traditional healers and the society from which they come. Included is an introduction to intuition, inner sight, and the intelligence of the heart, as it is central to indigenous healing. It is because of these beliefs and practices that our ancestors had such a deep connection with healing processes. 

You will learn:

• Understanding the psyche of traditional healers and society 

• Introduction to  intuition and inner sight in the realm of traditional healing

• Interpretation and application of intuitive information

• Proper use of physical and spiritual energetic channels

• Pain and the outcome of fear

• Talluan-suli (triangular breathing)

• Explore the metaphysical concepts underlying ancestral Filipino medicine

• Appreciate the integration of physical, mental, and spiritual aspects in healing within the metaphysical framework
